Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, my family and I live in Hillsboro, Oregon. I started Hold Fast Handmade as a hobby in my kitchen in 2023. I fell in love with the creativity and flexibility of polymer clay crafting and decided to run it as a business in early 2024.
The name Hold Fast comes from a verse in the Bible. Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” So we do just that – we hold tightly to the promises of the Lord, knowing that He is the one in whom we trust above all, He is the one in whom we have our breath and life, and He is the one to whom we will ultimately give account.
I want you to have earrings that you love! You’ll likely see many earrings on my site are sold out – that’s because I only made ONE PAIR. That’s the beauty of small-batch, handmade jewelry. If you see something you really love, please request it! I may be able to make you your very own pair.
My availability for custom orders is limited, but I always want to hear your ideas. Submit a contact form or message me on Instagram with your idea/request and I’ll give it a shot. This could be anything from a color scheme you really like to a whole set of matching earrings for a bridal party. I reserve the right to decline custom requests that do not align with my beliefs and the mission of my business.
FAQs
When can I expect to receive my order?
Processing time varies but I try to get orders out the door as quickly as possible! Stock is up to date on the website so if it’s orderable, it should be on it’s way to you within a couple of days. I use the cheapest (slowest) shipping option to keep your cost as low as possible.
How long do backordered products take to be shipped?
It really depends! I try to keep my most popular products available to you, even if I run out of what I have on hand. I try to get earrings made and shipped within a week of receiving the order.
